GREGORY SCHULTE

Gregory Schulte has been a practicing artist since 1987, and has established a national exhibition record of well over 100 shows in 23 states. Mr. Schulte has recently presented exhibitions of his paintings at The Salt Lake Art Center, Perimeter Gallery in Chicago, Brad Cooper Gallery in Tampa, and Grace Chosy Gallery in Madison. His work is included in many private and public collections.

After completing his MFA degree in 1991 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mr. Schulte accepted a teaching position that same year with the art department at Utah State University where he taught drawing and painting for 12 years. In 2003, he joined the art department faculty at Madison Area Technical College.

He has received numerous awards for his accomplishments in art and teaching. Most notable are the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Fellowship, and the Utah Arts Council’s Individual Artist Fellowship. During his tenure at Utah State University he received many teaching and research grants, and he was honored with both teaching and research awards. He has had the pleasure of lecturing about his work at universities, colleges, art centers, and museums across the country.
