Chalet Zell
I am a Tampa native and grew up in Historic Ybor City. I received my
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from The University of Tampa in
2001. I have been working as an artist since that time. My work has been
shown in local galleries and I have received awards at state juried
competitions. As well as being an artist I also work as an Art Educator for
the School District of Hillsborough County. I have taught at the elementary,
and high school levels.
I believe that
creating art can increase one’s ability to understand and react to the world
around them. I chose to become an artist to explore new ways to communicate
my ideas and I also enjoy teaching this skill to my students. |
