ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

I was born is Chattanooga, Tennessee but only lived there for a few years.  Most of my childhood was spent in a small town in west Kentucky called Paducah.  There I worked in a machine shop and frequently traveled to many of the plants and factories within a day's drive.  Much of my imagery has come from the time that I worked there.  I received my Bachelors Degree as Magna Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, with an emphasis in Drawing.   At SIUC I was a finalist in the Rickert Ziebold Trust Award Competition. After graduating I was accepted at the University of Kentucky graduate school with an emphasis in Printmaking.  Since attending the University of Kentucky I have been exhibiting at several galleries and shows in Lexington, and was awarded a teaching assistantship.
