ARTIST STATEMENT

I integrate two realms in my works: a world of nature and that of human beings. Both worlds are very complex and stay in constant interaction. My focal points are state of metamorphosis and dynamics of nature’s perfectly balanced system and the mankind striving for an artificial equilibrium.

The primary artistic goal is to render the dialectic of world and self-perception; therefore the works are infused with dual qualities which create a dialogue of sad and joyful, tragic and comic, beautiful and ugly, comfortable and uncomfortable, real and illusory.
