ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Penza, Russia in December 1978.

From 1992 through 1994 I attended an art school for children. I was taught the fundamentals of painting, drawing, composition, and sculpture. The studies helped me to develop the skills of a realist painter, and to determine my future career.

However, I resumed my art study only in 2001. After graduation from university in Russia with double major in foreign languages and economics, I came to the USA to study art at Florida State University. In December 2003 I received the Master’s degree of fine arts in painting and drawing. Currently I am an active artist and am employed as an adjunct professor at School of Visual Art and Dance at Florida State University.
