                               cover shot.

Winter 1992              Cover photograph for Creative Arts Workshop catalogue

1989                        The Natural Garden by Ken Druse. I have one large chapter Title page photograph
                               and two smaller images. It was this photographer who encouraged me to practice
                               photography.

1989- approx 1992

Began photography studies with Darkroom Techniques at Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven. Several instructors were Harold Shapiro, Peter Bosco, Karen Klugman. One course of Harold’s called “concerned photography” assigned me to photograph classes at Guilford Handcraft Center, which they later used for publicity and catalogues.

1980’s

Started taking photographs, as a traveler and gardener. Ken Druse, author of The Natural Garden convinced me to take this interest more seriously.
