ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

I was born in 1945 in New York City to working class parents.  My father, Abraham, worked for the government.  My mother, Tillie, stayed at home to raise her two daughters, Sylvia and Katie.  We were an artistic family with art and music being an important part of our lives.  I attended the High School of Art and Design followed by Cooper Union for the advancement of art and sciences.  I worked in the art departments of advertising agencies and publishers for many years as a freelance artist.  I married Ray Goldberg and our marriage produced two children, David and Talia.   We currently reside on the North Shore of Long Island with our two children, three cats and dogs.
