I am working to encapsulate response and reaction in the
“instant/instance” that a situation turns into something else. Flow is held
- moments are frozen mid-movement, yet change is
imminent.
Interested in exploring the
conceptual aspects of the work, as well as the photographic relationships
that shift between time-based motion pieces and still photography, I present
these works as the transition between the two forms. The absence of
real-time movement is implied in the captures, while a moment is sliced from
the action. I enjoy working with the push and pull of the media/medium and
the concept.
